Ken Ohtake | 生祥樂隊

生於日本千葉。大竹研透過對音樂理性的拆解與分析，佐以原音彈撥，卻發揮較插電效果器更富想像力的音響效果，提煉出創新的音樂能量。曾與沖繩民謠大師平安隆(Takashi Hirayasu)搭檔多年，重新編演沖繩民謠，平安隆譽之為「最沉穩內斂的搭檔夥伴」。

與林生祥初識於2003年流浪之歌音樂節，此後密切合作演出及創作，受到高度矚目，2006年起深耕台灣音樂圈。2018年發表自己的樂團「東京中央線」的專輯《Lines & Stains》拿下金曲獎演奏類最佳專輯獎。2019年發表個人木吉他獨奏專輯《KEN》獲金曲獎演奏類最佳作曲人獎。

Born in Chiba, Japan, Ken Ohtake deconstructs and analyzes music with methodical precision, yet through acoustic fingerpicking, he conjures sonic textures more imaginative than those produced by effects pedals, extracting fresh musical energy from this approach. He collaborated with Okinawan folk music master Takashi Hirayasu for many years, reinterpreting traditional Okinawan folk songs. Hirayasu praised him as “the most composed and understated partner.”

Otake first met Lin Sheng Xiang at the Migration Music Festival in 2003. Since then, their close collaboration in performance and composition has garnered widespread acclaim. Ohtake has been deeply involved in Taiwan’s music scene since 2006. In 2018, his band Tokyo Chuo-Line released the album Lines & Stains, which won Best Instrumental Album at the Golden Melody Awards. In 2019, his solo acoustic guitar album KEN earned him the Best Instrumental Composer at the Golden Melody Awards.

千葉県出身。音楽を理性的に解析し、ギター原音の演奏を重ねることで、エフェクターを超える想像力豊かな音響効果を生み、革新的な音楽のエネルギーを引き出してきた。沖縄民謡の巨匠・平安隆（ひらやすたかし）と長年コンビを組み、沖縄民謡を新たな解釈で演奏、平安から「最も落ち着き内に秘めたパートナー」と評されている。

2003年の「流浪音楽祭」で林生祥と出会ったのをきっかけに、台湾音楽シーンとの関わりが始まる。演奏や創作で大きな注目を集め、2006年より台湾に深く根を下ろし活動を続けている。2018年には自身のバンド「東京中央線」のアルバム《Lines & Stains》で金曲奨・演奏部門最優秀アルバム賞を受賞。さらに2019年にはソロのアコースティックギターアルバム《KEN》を発表、金曲奨・演奏部門最優秀作曲者賞を獲得している。
